28 September 2017 Swaziland/Mbombela
Zone Conference, Mbombela District Interviews
Mbabane Chapel
We held the Swaziland/Mbombela Zone Conference at the Mbabane Chapel from 9 am to 4 pm.
Elder Kokotiko and Elder Wilcox drove from Nelspruit yesterday for District Leader training for Elder Kokotiko. Elder and Sister Jensen drove Elder Weidmann and Elder Avarell to Mbabane this morning.
We had a morning break and a lunch break for food, pictures, delivery of birthday presents from the last six weeks, and a goal demonstration.
More interviews were held after the conference ended.
We all drove home in a heavy fog for a long time until we came down out of the mountains. President Leavitt and I took Elder Campbell with us. He is Elder Murwira's companion until Elder Campbell goes home 17 October 2017 (transfer day). He takes Elder Shava's place, who flew home on Tuesday. We arrived at the mission home at 11 pm. Elder Campbell slept at the mission home and was picked up the next morning to go to his new area's district meeting. The APs followed the other two cars back to Nelspruit and KaNyamazane to do missionary work with the Nelspruit and KaNyamazane missionaries. The APs drove back to Johannesburg Saturday afternoon. We watched the Saturday morning session of conference at 6 pm with them.

Each companionship completed a Time Use Evaluation sheet using the past week from their planner. I only remembered to take the last companionship doing this in Swaziland, but each completed a sheet and learned how to better manage their time to be a more effective missionary.
