Monday at the Mission Home:
Each departing missionary is brought to the mission home by other missionaries. They unload luggage, weigh each bag outside. Then bring them downstairs and claim a bunk bed for their overnight stay. They eat sweet & sour chicken/veggie/rice stew with rolls if they are hungry. They accompanying missionaries leave and the departing missionary has his interview with President Leavitt for an hour, makes a memory page for Sister Leavitt, sometimes emails home, signs or has others sign journals, and visit until dinner time and our farewell meeting together before bedtime.
