2018 Sept 6-7 ZC, Interviews & training Swaziland

Thursday, 6 September 2018, at the Mbabane Chapel, we had the Swaziland Zone Conference from 10-4 pm. 

The assistants, Elder Zimba and Elder Ott, were going to come on exchanges this week with the zone leaders, Elder B. Smith and Elder Sinclair (who don't have visas to proselyte in South Africa--two of our last three who were Mozambique missionaries when Swaziland was switched to our mission a year ago July). But because of the Reed Dance and proselyting being limited the first part of the week, they decided to stay and work in South Africa. So, President Leavitt and I did all their training and statistic presentation, and Elder Boyer's and Elder Wagner's along with ours. It all worked out.

We welcomed Elder Mayisela to our mission. He is from Ngwane Park Branch in Manzini, Swaziland Mbabane District (so President Leavitt is like his stake president). He was temporarily assigned to our mission while waiting for visas to go to the MTC in Brazil to learn Portuguese and then serve in the Mozambique Mission. President Leavitt has him serving in Nhlangano with Elder Rodgers.

Last training picture taken at 5:01 pm with the four Elders who live down the street and serve in Mbabane and Sidwashine. We cleaned up our things and packed up and left. Many people from the branch came to clean the church building for Sunday.
