Elder Robert Wold and Sister Joyce Wold drove in from Eswatini (Swaziland) where they have been serving in Ezulwini for the past 18 months. We had a wonderful visit and departure meal with them. We will miss their service and have no MLS couple to replace them so far away!

President Leavitt and I left at 5:40 am to meet Elder Sande and Elder C. Smith at the Johannesburg Temple to complete Elder Sande's parents' temple ordinances and be proxy so he could be sealed to his parents along with his baby sister who passed away at 8 months old. It was a very special morning.
I took Elder Sande and Elder Smith to the Family History Center to correct some of Elder Sande's family information. Elder Wailigala and Elder Neuenshwander were there doing some temple and family history work for Elder Wailigala.

President Leavitt and I spoke at the Roodepoort Stake Conference at the Krugersdorp Chapel on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm and at the 10 am Sunday morning conference session at the Randfontein Chapel.

March 4, 2019, Monday
Departing Elder Musumi, Elder Samatanda and Elder Keya came to the mission home for their departing interview with President Leavitt and dinner and departing meeting.

March 5, 2019, Tuesday, Transfer Day
Elder Spencer and Elder Rash picked up our three departing missionaries at 6 am and took them to the airport to fly home. President Leavitt and I drove to the MTC, and along with Elder Simmons, Elder Bogosavac and Elder Lopuliak, our assistants, to pick up our new missionaries at 7 am and walk them and all their luggage over to the mission office.

Sister Leavitt spends 1 1/2 hours training them on health issues, Adjusting to Missionary Life, Mission Manual, etc.
The regular transfer begins at 8:00 and they all depart by10:30 am.

March 6, 2019, Wednesday
Elder Hamilton flew in from England Wednesday morning at 5:40 am and had his interview with President Leavitt while Elder Spencer, Elder Rash (who picked him up from the airport) and his trainer, Elder Eldredge and drivers, Elder Ondrecek and Elder Barnum at breakfast before going to their area. President Leavitt and I left to go to the Tskane flat to start interviewing and training eight missionaries.

Elder Randrianary passed the English test in Madagascar and returned to us March 6, 2019. Elder & Sister Truman picked him up at the MTC after they called and said he was at the airport with one of their MTC missionaries who had flown in from Madagascar that evening. We met them at the Mission Home after we arrived from doing a long day of interviews and training in the Springs Zone (an hour + away) and after welcoming Elder Hamilton from England early (plane landed at 5:40 am) that morning at the mission home for his interview and breakfast. Elder and Sister Oliver, serving in Sharpeville, came and drove him to his new companion in Sebokeng, Elder Nau.
March 10, 2019, Sunday
We spoke at the Centurion Stake Conference at 10 am. Fixing the mike before the meeting started. I just had to take a photo (the stake historian also took a photo.)
