9 October 2017 Hailstones from the Storm

On Monday, 9 October 2017, we had a rain storm and hail storm. After it became safe to run outside, President Leavitt picked these off our Mission Home front lawn. They dimpled many cars and broke some windows of cars and flats. But no one got hit in the head with a large one--thankfully! So glad we were inside (and our car under our carport) when the storm came. President Leavitt is working on transfers this week (amidst interviews and other work).

On Tuesday, while President Leavitt was gone for four hours, I made cinnamon rolls for next weeks' Tuesday transfer breakfast for 27.  Four trays of them are safely tucked in the freezer after being cooked and frosted.

Elder Eatough and Elder Jennings came in to visit with President Leavitt. They ate dinner here as it was 8 pm. Elder Jennings wanted peanut butter to put on his toast. Then he was challenged to eat it in one bite--he got it in two!

Just thought I would add these beautiful pictures of  the Cedar City Temple our kids sent to us. It will be dedicated 10 December 2017. All the volunteers are being organized for the open house which begins next week. 120,000 open house tickets were claimed in the first two days. More were made available and more volunteers were summoned.
