2018 Nov-Dec Interviews

I decided to publish this much and update later after our mission tour this week and the Mbombela District Conference.

President Leavitt and I drove to missionary flats to hold interviews with President Leavitt while I did training. This time we watched an 8-minute segment on translating the Book of Mormon from the recent Face2Face with Elder Cook in front of the Nauvoo Temple. I taught from Elder and Sister Holland's talk on Christ and the Book of Mormon given in June 2018 at the Mission Leadership Seminar (mission presidents and companions) at the Provo MTC. We looked up many scriptures and had wonderful discussions. Unfortunately, I was so engaged with the training, I didn't remember to take many pictures.

Not finished yet, but thought I would publish this. We still have interviews in Swaziland on 29 Nov. (ZC with Pres. Sitati on 30 Nov.), Klerksdorp and Jouberton on 1 Dec. (we're going for the weekend for a baptism and confirmation), and Mbombela 8 Dec. (we are going right after our mission tour in Joburg with President & Sister Sitati to Nelspruit to the Mbombela District Conference where President Leavitt presides for the weekend). President Sitati is the new first counselor in the Africa Southeast Area. 

We welcomed Elder and Sister Oliver on 4 November. They stayed with us in the mission home until they moved into their flat in Sharpeville. Then we welcomed Elder and Sister Rees on 10 November. They are our new office couple and in training. They are staying with us in the mission home until their flat is remodeled a bit after the Boyers fly home 25 November 2018.

We finished on Sunday, 9 December 2018 in Nelspruit, after the Mbombela District Conference (we both spoke three times on Saturday and Sunday) and started the next round of interviews and training on Wednesday, 12 December 2018 after the transfer and will finish 12 January 2019 in Nelspruit again.)
