Sunday night dinner with the Eswatini Zone and Potchefstroom 2 area missionaries who drove to the mission home to sleep in preparation for transfers and Elder Holland's meeting and interviews and training. Other missionaries drove in to sleep at other close-by elder's flats Sunday night after they all watched the Sunday meeting with Elder and Sister Holland from their respective distant branches.
Transfer, Monday, 11 November, 2019:
President and Sister Leavitt with our assistants, Elder Mpapa and Elder Sommer, picked up our three new missionaries at the MTC at 7 am. We took them to the CES building for breakfast and a quick version of Sister Leavitt's orientation on health, Adjusting to Missionary Life, and Light The World (our office staff had previously done some and would do more later). We took photos with them and then left to drive to the Sandton Chapel for our transfer and meeting with Elder and Sister Holland.
Meanwhile, Elder and Sister Oliver oversaw breakfast for the Eswatini Zone and Potchefstroom 2 area elders who came to the mission home after watching Elder Holland's Sunday talk in their branches before driving in for dinner Sunday night and sleeping at the mission home to be here for the special meeting with Elder & Sister Holland on Monday. Including the Olivers, we had 16 missionaries sleeping at the mission home.
The Eswatini Zone returned to the mission home after zone conference to have their interviews and training Monday night and Tuesday morning with President and Sister Leavitt before returning to Eswatini.
