27 November 2017, Monday, Departing Missionaries
On Sunday afternoon, President Leavitt interviewed four departing missionaries and on Monday afternoon he interviewed the other four departing missionaries, plus he interviewed Senzo Masango, for his final mission interview. The missionaries made memory pages, played ping pong, and we ate dinner and had our last evening meeting together. At the end, President Leavitt set Senzo apart as a missionary. Then we sang the mission song, said the closing prayer and everyone went to bed. All the missionaries flew out sometime on Tuesday.

(Senzo Masango came from Nelspruit with two of our transfer missionaries to get set apart by President Leavitt. He will fly to Manchester, England Tuesday night to attend the MTC and then serve his mission there.) |
