President Leavitt and I started this transfer cycle of interviews at 6 pm at the mission home with our office couple missionaries Elder and Sister Truman and Elder and Sister Rees coming for dinner, visiting and interviews.

Friday, 4 October 2019

President Leavitt and I went to an Endowment Session at the Johannesburg Temple with the Centurion missionaries. After their district meetings (we had a Health Council Meeting with Dr. Stacey at the area office) and eating lunch with them, we stayed. President Leavitt interviewed, and I trained the Centurion 1&2/Midrand--Elders Rodgers and Rasmussen and Rabie Ridge--Elders Nocanda and Forsyth. President Leavitt used the Area office board room, and I used the main floor conference room.

We went to the mission office at 4:15 pm for a staff meeting. Elders Flood and Green came to the mission home for dinner and loaded Zoom. They taught us how to use it with the missionaries to see their phones.

At 3 pm the Soweto Elders Mtyobile and Rodrigues and Dobsonville Elders Steiner and Hlatshwayo came to the mission home for interviews and training.

Sunday, 6 October 2019

We went to church in Sharpville and did interviews and training right after church with Sharpville Elders Matayaunga and Jente. We drove to Sebokeng Chapel for a 1 pm meeting. After we did interviews and training with the Sebokeng Elders Maylett and Mills.

Thursday, 10 October 2019

We drove to the Secunda flat--Elders Rokotonindrina and Randrianary with the Embalenhle Elders Julander and Valentine.

We took Elder Durrant (far right) with us on a transfer to Eswatini.

We drove on to Mbabane to drop off Elder Durrant with Elder James and Elder Chirinza. Then drove to Ezulwini, Eswatini, to have interviews and training with our zone leaders, Elder Hess and Elder Willison at the senior missionary flat where we stay.

After zone conference in Manzini, we interviewed and trained Nhlangano Elders Kisembo and Washburn and President Leavitt interviewed Elder Durrant during our lunch break. After zone conference, Elder N. Rocha drove back to Joburg with Elders Mpapa, Sommer, Flood and Green. Elder Chirinza went with Elder Forward and Elder Durrant stayed with Elder James.

We drove to Manzini from Ezulwini to the Fairview flat with Elders Delvaux and Mickelson with Ngwane Park Elders Forward, Chirinza and the Sidwashine/Mbabane Elders James and Durrant.

We drove to Mbabane Chapel to meet with a prospective missionary. Then we drove to Nelspruit for early morning meetings.

After some meetings Sunday morning in Nelspruit, we drove to Benoni/Boksburg flat with Elders Bird and J. Andrews, then drove home.

Elder San Pascual flew home to the Philippines on a medical release. We hope to have him return when recovered.

We drove to Daveyton 1 flat Elders Bonfim and Osborne, with Daveyton 2 Elders Lundberg and Campos and Daveyton 3 Elderss Nelson and LeSueur.

We went to the Etwatwa 1 flat with Elders Mumford and Banda and Etwatwa 2 Elders Garcia and Cressler.

Then we went to Rynfield's flat with Elders Thornton and Gabriel and Mayfield Elders Eldredge and Osmond.

We drove to Kwa-Thema 2 flat with Elders Mathenjwa and Mosia and Kwq-Thema 1 Elders High and Barnum.

We drove to Tsakane 1 flat with Elders Mendes and Rea and Tsakane 2 Elders Newell and JM Davis and Springs Elders Lubelwana and Muh.

We drove to Ridgeway flat with Elders Andrus and Kani.

We drove to Kagiso 1 flat with Elders Bah and Kireta and Kagiso 2 Elders Di. Santos and Chifarimba.

We drove to the Munsieville flat with Elders Bindrup and Egay, Roodepoort Elders Pueblo and Romney and Krugersdorp Elders Huntley and Walker.

We had interviews and training at the mission home for Orange Grove Elders Harr and Manzini, Alexandra Elders Gcwabe and Ndlelo and Mnyakana, Bedfordview Elders Davis and B. Rocha.

Then with Germinston Elders W. van Thiel Berghuys and Neeley, and Buhle Park Elders Madaza and Baldiviezo.

Katlehhong Elders Ondricek and McAllister, Vosloorus Elders Mills and Carlson, and Eastfield Elders Neuenshwander and Yasa.

We drove to Vereeniging flat with Elders Smith, Ncwadi and Elder Almeida (who will get Elder Rea on Wednesday).

We drove to Protea Glen for church after which President Leavitt did some baptism interviews. We drove to Ennerdale flat with Elders Kirby and Reidhead and Orange Farm Elders Shaffer and Pereira.

We drove to the mission home and met with Rumsig/Weltrevreden Elders G. Santos and Hamilton.

After picking up our two elders from the MTC--Elder Austen and Elder Mpakama at 7 am and doing breakfast and my orientation, the rest of the office staff did their orientation while we drove to Kempton Park flat with Elders Atkinson and Sorensen, Hospital View Elders Diniz and Pickford and Birch Acres Elders Mthembu and G. Andrews.

We drove to Tembisa 1 flat with Elders Jangard and Esele, and Temabisa 2 Elders Souza and Wailagala.

We drove to Randfontein flat with Elders Flynn and East, and Rustenburg Elders Nielsen and Ndlelo (transferred there on Tuesday when Elder King flew home on medical), and Phokeng Elders Kunjuzwa and Briggs.

We drove to Carletonville flat with Elders Clawson and Bete and Khutsong Elders Leavitt and Rattana.

We drove to the Klerksdorp flat at 7:30 am to set apart a new Elders Quorum president and met with the Klerksdorp Elders Thompson and Willard, and Jouberton Elders Sol and Strickland.

We drove to the Potchefstroom 1 flat with Elders Truman and Dakuiyau and Potch 2 Elders Chandler and Austin.

We did interviews and training after breakfast with Joburg 1 Elders Odro and Daniels and Joburg 2 Elders Molteno and Earl.

I went to KFC and bought six chicken twisters and we did interviews and training with Cosmo City, Elders Nganda and Ricks, Fourways Elders J. Smith and Robison, and Randburg/Sandton Elders Mercado and Romney.
