2019 Dec 20 ZC Eswatini Zone and Mbombela District

We held zone conference in the Mbabane Chapel in Eswatini on Friday morning.



After President & Sister Leavitt and assistants, Elder Molteno and Elder Esele did their presentations, zone leader breakout was conducted by our Eswatini zone leaders, Elder Flynn and Elder Hess. After lunch, we did the Christmas program presented by all the elders and they received their engraved Book of Mormon copies and bookmarks for the 100-day reading challenge.

2019 Dec 18 Transfer Day and ZC

On Wednesday morning, we went to the MTC at 7 am and picked up six new elders. We have no departing missionaries today.

After stowing their luggage, we ate cinnamon rolls, yogurt, bananas and a drink in the CES classroom while Sister Leavitt did training on health items and Adjusting to Missionary Life booklet.

Sister Walker and Sister Truman, Elder Walker and Elder Truman did their orientations after at the mission office next door.

The transfer took place during the morning. All had lunch either outside or inside, and then we enjoyed zone conference from 1:45 until 5:45 pm. We had a special Christmas program the last 70 minutes with each zone participating. The program was adapted from our Journey to Bethlehem and Beyond Christmas Eve program President Leavitt and I do with our children and grandchildren each year.
