March 12, 2019, Tuesday

We held zone conference in the Florida Chapel for the Roodepoort North, Roodepoort South, Springs and Vaal Zones from 9 am to 4:15 pm. We took some extra time to watch a third of the new safety zone videos that all missionaries should watch by the end of May.

Elder Rees heads up checking all the zone cars that are in the parking lot during zone conference.

Africa Southeast Area Medical Doctor Stacey and Sister Stacey

Sister and Elder Oliver, MLS in Sharpeville

Elder Esele, Dr. Stacey, Sister Stacey
Dr. Stacey came during lunch on both zone conference days and met individually with missionaries. Elder Esele has also been a great help to our missionaries. He will continue to assist Dr. Stacey and our missionaries. Elder Esele became a medical doctor a year before coming on his mission. He hopes upon his return to continue his medical schooling and become a neurosurgeon.

We are happy to have Elder Manzini back in our ranks after fully recovering from a broken leg.

Left: Elder Randrianary returned to us from Madagascar after successfully passing a required English test to obtain an extended visa to serve in the Johannesburg mission. Welcome back!
