2019 July 8-10 Transfer

We had three departing interviews on Monday and four on Tuesday. Elder Lubwama and Elder Avanitele left for the airport at 8 am on Tuesday. Elder Ratshikhopha worked as a missionary until Wednesday and his stake president, President Mashila of the Mobopane Stake drove him home to Pretoria. Elders Butler, Eriksen, Simmons and Trammell flew home on Tuesday night to Salt Lake City, where their families met them and drove them home. The elders had dinner and our departing meeting and slept at the mission home on Monday night. We had breakfast and lunch at the mission home.

10 July 2019 - Incoming Missionaries from the Joburg MTC

At 7 am we picked up our new missionaries along with our assistants, Elder Mpapa and Elder Jolley (new) and Elder Austen-- a new missionary. We took them and their luggage to the mission office and CES classroom for breakfast and orientation, driving tests, lunch and the match meeting. Pictures were taken and then all were off to their areas.

From 8-10 am the other missionaries are coming in for the transfer to go with their new companions. Some drivers of trainers and trainees stay until after the final pictures are taken after lunch to drive them to their flats.

Table has transfer packets, tray for confirmation reports, and will have all ordered supplies, packages and letters ready for the transfer at 8-10 am.

After stowing their luggage on the veranda, President Leavitt goes over their schedule before breakfast.
