11 April 2017, Interviews
This is our last day of introductory interviews with President Leavitt and training on the Easter Initiative "Prince of Peace" by Elder Zitumane, Elder Campbell and Sister Leavitt. After Sister Leavitt did a short get-to-know-each-Elder interview and the Easter Initiative was completed, Sister Leavitt gave each Elder a 5x7" print of "My Savior, My Friend" her and President Leavitt's son, Dixon, painted. Sister Leavitt also likes to call it "The Smiling Christ". She reminds the Elders that our Savior experienced all the bad things they have and more, and still he can bring us forgiveness and peace through his atoning power. He truly is the Prince of Peace. He carries a staff because he is our Shepherd and he is happy when we are one of his obedient sheep.
