Bedfordview Zone Temple Trip

First Temple Trip with our missionaries:

President Leavitt drove us with Waze directing us (first time by ourselves) to the Johannesburg Temple and attended an endowment session with the Bedfordview Zone. After, the Elders split into three districts and held district meetings. When finished, we ate lunch in the temple cafeteria.

First Mission Office Staff Meeting:

We had our first mission office staff meeting at 3 pm until 4:15 pm, when President Leavitt had another meeting.

Yes--Our Shipment Came!!!

I was doing office things when I decided to check my email and the shipping company said they wanted to deliver our things now. I called and they had just arrived at our gate. They waited 10 minutes for Elder and Sister Wells to drive me the quickest way to the mission home to let them in. Everything was brought in and we returned to the mission office. The office had just been sprayed for bugs, and everyone had left. We found President Leavitt at the MTC with President Ashton. We had a short visit with he and Sister Ashton and went home. We unpacked until very late.

President Dunn had a banner made for our front hall to greet us when we moved in to the mission home. President and Sister Dunn have done so many things to make our transition easier -- which we greatly appreciate!
