9-10 May 2017 Interim Mission Presidents’ Seminar

President Leavitt and I left from Lanseria Airport on Monday morning and flew on Mango Airlines to Cape Town.

On Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a few short breaks and lunch, we had training from the South Africa area presidency, medical, security and support individuals. Pictures right after the meeting:

We had the delight of meeting President and Sister Chadambuka of the Botswana/Namibia Mission, whose son, Elder Musiiwa, is one of our fabulous South Africa Johannesburg missionaries!

On Tuesday after we were done with our meetings, the men took off their ties, we put on walking shoes and jackets and went on a boat trip out into the bay just as the sun set. Then as we returned to the dock, we faced the moon rising into the sky. That was an extra-special occurrence on the day we were there.
