20 Jan 2018 Mbombela District Training

20 Jan 2018 Mbombela District Training
Nelspruit and KaNyamazane Branches

Held at the Nelspruit Chapel, 2-4:30 pm

President Maleka, Mbombela District President, conducted the meeting. The first hour or so included an introduction by President Maleka and President Leavitt, and then a role-play training of how to conduct a branch council meeting and who should be there to participate. It was led by President Leavitt taking the role of the branch president, with the two branch presidents filling the roles as his counselors and others in attendance filled other leadership positions in the council.

After the council meeting was done, everyone split into departments for further training during the next hour or so. The department trainers were President Leavitt and President Maleka, President Manjate and President Banda, Sister Leavitt, Elder Jensen, Sister Jensen, Sister Foxx, and Sister Willis. Different types of training was given. When done, all were asked to fill out a Training Evaluation Form.

I led the Young Women's training (as I have been a Young Women's President, Counselor, Adviser and Camp Director at different times during my life).

I haven't always included our weekend trips. But I decided to record this training as it is the historic first one held here since the new Mbombela District was formed December 10, 2017 (and it wasn't in the chapel).
