19-20 February 2018 Transfers

19-20 February 2018 Transfers

19 February 2018
Mission Home

Elder Nielsen, Elder Dionisiu, and Elder Pulley came to the mission home to weigh their luggage, have their departing interviews, making memory pages, playing one last game of ping pong, eating dinner and having our evening departing meeting before sleeping at the mission home. Elder Pulley, who was serving with Elder Cox as a zone leader in Swaziland, is returning to his assigned mission in Madagascar. Our last two Madagascar Elders serving in Swaziland will return to Madagascar on the next transfer 3 April 2018.

February 20, 2018 Taking Elder Pulley and Elder Dionisiu to the airport early Tuesday morning by our office elders, Elder Pratt and Elder Marsden.

President Leavitt, Sister Leavitt, and Elder Nielsen left at 6:30 am to go to the MTC to pick up six of our seven new missionaries. The office elders dropped off Elders Pulley to fly to Madagascar to finish his mission and Elder Dionisiu to fly home. They picked up Elder Dmitri who flew in from Brazil. (Note: Elder Dionisiu missed his flight so the office elders went back to the airport and picked him up. He stayed with our assistants, Elder Powell and Elder Curriden (new-taking Elder Wolfgramm's place) until he flew home on Thursday morning.)
