We need to have full interview days because we have an extra transfer in this transfer cycle on 24 April with missionaries leaving and coming.

The Elders come into the mission home to be interviewed by President Leavitt. They review how they did on their first time setting two or three six-week goals and then set two to three goals for the next six weeks (or until their next interview). President Leavitt is teaching them how to set realistic goals and make plans for how to achieve them from interview to interview. As everyone learns and improves, a great life skill with be developed. They also cover other items.

With Sister Leavitt, the Elders participate in an activity demonstrating the need for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Ghost in our lives as we repent daily. Using one chopstick to get the jelly beans into the bowl (without using your hands to touch anything) is like trying to repent by yourself. You might get some in the bowl but with the others scattered. When using the additional second chopstick, representing the cleansing power of Christ's atonement through the Holy Ghost, it still takes your concentration and effort. But all the jelly beans can be more easily transferred into the bowl. We can be completely forgiven of our sins each day. All our guilt is swept away and we have a peace of conscience. We read together Young Men General President Stephen W. Owen's October 2017 Conference talk titled, Repentance is Always Positive, and Elder Neil L. Andersen's October 2009 Conference talk titled, Repent...That I May Heal You. We have great discussions on repentance and also reference some of April's conference talks just given (especially talks of Elder Lynn G. Robbins and Elder Echo Hawk).

Sister Foxx and Sister Willis meet with each companionship. They identify any investigators (real or not) who deal with addiction. They counsel together on how to address those issues when teaching Lesson Three. They also discuss pages 187-190 of Preach My Gospel about how to help their investigators overcome addictions and what helpful church resources are available.
