5 September 2017, Tuesday, Transfer Day
The outgoing Elders who haven't left for the airport for early flights, the APs (Elder Adams and Elder Wikaira), and President and Sister Leavitt pick up the incoming missionaries at the MTC at 6:55 am. They say goodbye to President Ashton, and we walk them across the parking lots to our SAJM mission office for breakfast, orientation, interviews, lunch, driving tests for licensed drivers, and at last, a meeting where the trainers are matched with the trainees. Then they leave to their areas in the afternoon. They return the next Monday for more Safety training.
All the missionaries who
are being transferred also meet at the office to make the companionship changes
