15 October 2017 Ennerdale Branch Visit

15 October 2017, Sunday

President Leavitt and I attended the Ennerdale Branch. District President Gwebu released, and we gave a vote of thanks to President Ramoolla and 1st Counselor Bro. Nokosi for their wonderful service. We sustained President Teboho Mtasoso as the new branch president and Brother Nokosi as his 1st Counselor.

I call these young men my stripling warriors. They have been diligently preparing to serve missions. Saviour opened his call last Sunday. He is going to serve in the Zimbabwe Harare mission, 30 November 2017. Raapile's call is in process, and Xoli's had his final interview to submit his papers today with President Leavitt. They were happy to be pictured on this blog. I am very proud of them and all the other young men who are preparing for missions.

Note: I filled two crock pots with chicken, vegetables, and chicken broth before we left for Ennerdale. After we arrived home, President Leavitt had interviews with eight missionaries, plus their companions were here, staggered from 12:45 to 8 pm. The APs were here from 8-11 pm. We have the rest of the departure interviews tomorrow. They all enjoyed soup and rolls and chocolate cupcakes.

  1. Sister Leavitt, I just wanted to say how much I love your posts. Thank you for keeping the blog updated. And thank you especially for all that you do for the missionaries and all that you do to bless the Lord’s work in Joburg!
